In
the modern
society where we live, a fabric is being created,
ever thicker and denser, made up of uniformity,
indifference, standardisation and the loss of
human values. Underneath, totally hidden by these
things, we still find life forms, ways of working,

– although often disperse and isolated –

At ibai una osteria contemporània, a modern-day
inn, we have decided to go back to those times.
Pedro, Maria, Pep, Rafel and Jordi are those “old-fashioned”
producers that care for their products lovingly
and artistically, in the same way that it has
been done for many generations.
These producers and
the dedication of the entire team mean that we
care for our vegetable garden to supply the kitchen,
that we make the bread every day, that we bring
a different way of understanding cuisine in these
modern times to our tables.

to love ourselves and the ones that we are with.

from yesteryear where the arrival of a new traveller
always represented a unique occasion to demonstrate
what the word hospitality really means. Ibai is
